The Week-by-Week Plan

Tap any week to open it. One week at a time.

Always-On · Every Single Week

These never stop. Everything else is built on top of these.

All 5 prayers. No exceptions. On hard days especially.
200 words a day. No editing. Just show up.
10 minutes before your phone every morning.
Sleep at a consistent time.
Make dua for your parents and sister by name, daily.
Drink enough water.
Month One The Soil Build the ground before the house
Week 1 Start Small, Start Clean
SpiritualSet a prayer alarm for all 5 salah times today. This week: don't miss Fajr once. Not perfection — just Fajr.
MentalPhone goes across the room before bed — tonight and every night this week. Your last thought before sleep should not be a screen.
WritingOpen a document and write 200 words. A memory, a feeling, a rant about the week. Do not stop to edit. Just get to 200.
SocialSend your brother a real message this week — not just "hi." A voice note, a long text, something that shows you thought of him.
GriefNo action needed yet. Just acknowledge it quietly. Your parents and sister are with you this week. That's enough for now.
"I am beginning. That is already something."
Week 2 Observe Without Fixing
SpiritualAdd 1 page of Quran — after Fajr or before bed, whichever you'll actually do. Don't aim for more. One page is enough.
MentalThis week, notice what drains you. Write a list — people, tasks, habits. Don't fix anything yet. Just see it clearly.
FinancialStart your spending tracker. Write down every single thing you spend money on this week. Every coffee, every small purchase. Just observe.
Writing200 words again. Same rule — no editing. This week, try writing about a person who matters to you.
Health8 glasses of water every day this week. Simple, non-negotiable, easy to track.
"I don't need to fix it. I need to see it."
Week 3 Deepen the Basics
SpiritualAfter your Quran page, sit for 2 minutes. Don't move. Think about one word or line that struck you. Just two minutes of stillness.
MentalFrom your energy drain list last week: cancel or skip one thing you said yes to out of habit. Not guilt — just don't go.
FinancialKeep the spending tracker going. This is Week 2 of just watching. No changes yet.
GriefWrite the letter. To your parents or your sister. Start with "I wanted to tell you..." and just go. Don't overthink it. It's for no one but you.
Writing200 words. This week, write about a place that holds a memory for you.
"The small things, done consistently, are not small."
Week 4 First Look Back
SpiritualLook at your Quran reading and salah this month. What improved? What needs more attention? No judgment — just an honest look.
MentalRe-read your energy drain list from Week 2. Circle the one you want to work on next month. Name it. Decide.
FinancialTotal up what you spent this month. Every category. Just look at the number. You now know where your money actually goes.
WritingRead back everything you wrote this month. Find your three favourite sentences. Write them at the top of a new document called "My Best Lines."
SocialHave a proper call with your brother this week. Put it in the calendar. It counts as a win.
"I made it through a whole month. That is not nothing."
Month Two The Roots Let the habits sink deeper
Week 5 Start the Dua Journal
SpiritualOpen a notebook or document. Write 3 duas — one for yourself, one for your children, one for your brother. Be specific. Be honest. This is between you and Allah.
MentalStart working on the energy drain you chose last week. Reduce it by half this week — less time, less exposure, fewer yes's.
HealthStart your movement habit this week. A 20-minute walk, 3 times. Pick days that are realistic. Put them in your calendar now.
FinancialSet up one automated savings transfer today. Even a small amount. The point is it moves before you see it or spend it.
Writing200 words a day. This week, try writing something that made you angry. Let it be ugly. No one will read it.
"I am asking for what I need. That is already faith."
Week 6 Make Movement Stick
SpiritualWrite duas for your parents and sister this week specifically. Say their names. Ask for forgiveness on their behalf. Ask for the reunion in Jannah you wrote about.
HealthSecond week of movement. All 3 days. If you missed last week, start now — no self-punishment, just start.
MentalSay no to one small thing this week. A favour, a commitment, an extra task someone gives you. Practice the muscle. The word is: "I can't make that work."
WritingThis week try to write a piece with a beginning and an end. Even 4 lines counts. Finished is the goal — not long, not polished.
ProfessionalStart thinking about your career goal. Don't write it yet — just let it sit in your head this week. What would "better" look like at work by December?
"My body is a gift. Moving it is gratitude."
Week 7 Clarity Week
ProfessionalWrite your career goal in one sentence today. Stick it where you'll see it — your mirror, your phone wallpaper, the top of your notebook. It's real now.
SpiritualRe-read your duas from Week 5. Have any been answered already — in small ways? Write it down. Keep evidence of His responses.
MentalIdentify a second energy drain in your life. You don't have to fix it yet — just name it. Awareness is step one.
FinancialCheck on your automated savings. It's been two weeks — something has moved. Notice how it feels knowing it happened without you deciding.
WritingFinish one short piece this week. It can be one stanza, one paragraph, one page. It just needs an ending. Done counts.
"When I name what I want, I can walk toward it."
Week 8 Look How Far You've Come
ReflectWrite 10 sentences about what's different from Week 1. Not compared to where you want to be — compared to where you started. You've changed more than you think.
SocialPlan something with the family — even just an evening at home where you are fully present. No phone, no half-attention. All of you, in the room together.
MusicMake your first intentional playlist this week. Morning playlist, writing playlist, or one for hard days. Let music do its work on purpose, not by accident.
SpiritualAdd to your dua journal. By now you should have 2 weeks of duas written. Read them back. Then write new ones — bigger ones. You're building a conversation.
ProfessionalLook at your career goal on the wall. What's one thing you could do before Month 3 starts? Small is fine. Write it down as a task.
"Two months in. I am already someone who shows up."
Month Three The Growth Build on what's working
Week 9 Learn Something New
SpiritualPick one topic in Islam you want to know more deeply — tafseer, seerah, fiqh, Islamic history. Find a book or podcast. This week: read or listen to Chapter 1.
MentalPractice saying no to one thing this week. Something small. Notice the feeling after — the guilt will be there, and so will the relief. Both are real.
HealthBook the check-up this week. Not next week. Today. If you've already booked it, attend it. This is the whole task.
Writing200 words. This week, write about a place in the world that made you feel small in the best way.
FinancialThree months of spending tracked. What pattern do you see? What surprises you? Just notice — don't act yet.
"Curiosity is a form of worship."
Week 10 Cut What Doesn't Fit
FinancialIdentify and cancel the subscription or spending habit you don't genuinely value. Do it today, not at the end of the week. Redirect what you save.
SpiritualContinue your Islamic learning — Chapter 2. If you missed last week, catch up this week without guilt. The only failure is not returning.
HealthWeek 6 of movement. By now it should feel less like a decision and more like part of the day. Notice that.
WritingWrite something playful this week — about your cats, about something funny, about a moment that made you laugh. Joy is also valid material.
MentalIdentify one more thing to say no to this month. You're building the muscle — keep using it.
"Letting go of what doesn't fit makes room for what does."
Week 11 Deepen the Relationships
SocialPlan and execute the thing with your nieces and nephews this week. Put a date in the calendar. It doesn't need to be big — they just need you present.
EmotionalNotice this week: which people leave you feeling full after time with them, and which leave you feeling empty? You don't have to act — just observe clearly.
MusicBuild a second intentional playlist — one for the hard days. The music that holds you when you're not okay. Curate it carefully.
SpiritualContinue your Islamic learning. Three weeks in — how does it feel to be filling that gap in your knowledge?
WritingWrite about someone who stayed. Write about what loyalty looks like in your life. Let it be honest and specific.
"The people who fill me up deserve the best version of me."
Week 12 Consolidate
SpiritualIf your Islamic learning has slipped, catch up this week. Not from guilt — just because you chose this and you're worth following through for.
ProfessionalCheck on your career goal. Have you taken any steps yet? If not — what's one thing you can do before Month 4 starts? Make it specific and small.
FinancialCheck your savings pot. Three months of automated saving — how much is there? That number exists because of what you built. Let yourself feel that.
WritingRead everything you've written since Week 1. You have more than you think. How has your voice changed? What themes keep appearing?
SocialCall your brother again. Make this the month it becomes a standing habit — not an occasional catch-up.
"Three months in. I have more than I started with."
Week 13 Rest Week & The Sealed Letter
This is a buffer week. No new habits. Just maintain what you've built. This is not falling behind — this is what sustainability looks like.
SpiritualSpend 15 minutes this week in extended dua — no list, no structure. Just talk to Allah. Tell Him what's been hard, what's been good, what you're afraid of next.
ReflectWrite yourself a letter about what has changed in 3 months. Be honest. Then seal it in an envelope and write on it: "Open in Week 23." Don't read it early.
Writing200 words. Write about rest — what it means to you, why you resist it, what you need more of.
"Rest is not the absence of work. It is part of it."
Month Four The Bloom Push into discomfort
Week 14 Faith in Community
SpiritualFind and attend one gathering that feeds your faith this week — a halaqah, a talk, a community event, a mosque programme. Being around other believers is its own kind of fuel.
WritingWrite about your faith — what does being chosen feel like? What does it mean to you to have a door to knock on when you're broken? This could become something real.
ProfessionalTake your first visible step on your career goal this week. If it's been internal so far — a thought, a plan — make it external. An email, a conversation, a proposal.
HealthIf the check-up hasn't happened yet — this week. No more delaying. Your body is asking for attention.
"I bloom best in community. I am not meant to grow alone."
Week 15 Tell the People
EmotionalTell one person in your circle — in actual words — exactly why they matter to you. Not a hint. Not a like on a post. A message, a call, a conversation. Say it directly.
SelfDo the solo thing this week. A morning in a café alone, an exhibition, a long drive with the music loud. Something just for you. Not productive. Just yours.
WritingShare something publicly this week. Post a poem, send a piece to someone who needs to read it, publish something small. One thing out of the folder and into the world.
FinancialResearch one way to grow your money — a better savings rate, a small investment, an emergency fund goal. Learn before you act. This week is just research.
"The people in my life deserve to hear what they mean to me."
Week 16 The Professional Push
ProfessionalTake a second visible step on your career goal. Last week was first contact — this week go further. Follow up, escalate, apply, propose. Keep the momentum.
SpiritualMake your sadaqah this month — deliberate and in someone's name. Your parents. Your sister. Give with intention. Let it be an act of love for them.
MusicTry to learn something new with music this week. A new app, a lesson, a new instrument you've always been curious about. Give the talent something fresh.
WritingKeep writing. By now you've been showing up for 4 months. You are a writer. Write like someone who knows that.
"My ambition is allowed to be visible."
Week 17 Look at What You Did
ReflectWrite down everything that felt uncomfortable this month. What you said, what you shared, what you did for the first time. You did things that scared you. Write that down.
EmotionalWho else in your circle needs to hear they matter? Keep going. This is a month-long practice, not a one-time gesture.
TravelPlan your Month 5 trip this week. Real dates. Even one night away. Book something — even tentatively. Put it in the calendar so it can't disappear.
WritingStart thinking about your big piece — the one that will be done or published by the end of Month 6. What is it? A collection? A chapter? A long essay? Name it this week.
"Four months in. I have pushed. I have grown. I continue."
Month Five The Harvest Reap what you've planted
Week 18 The Honest Look
ReflectFull review of Months 1–4. What stuck? What didn't? Adjust going forward. No guilt about what fell away — guilt doesn't help. Just choose what continues.
SpiritualMake the meaningful sadaqah — in your parents' names and your sister's name. Make it deliberate. Let your grief become generosity.
ProfessionalWhere is your career goal right now? Write a 30-day sprint plan for Month 6. Three specific actions that will move it forward before December.
FinancialCount your automated savings. Five months in — how much has accumulated without effort? That's what consistency looks like made visible.
"I am not behind. I am exactly where this process brings me."
Week 19 The Trip
TravelThis is the week. Take the trip. Even one night. Even close. You said travel lifts the weight — let it do its work. You've earned this.
WritingWrite on the trip. Even just notes — what you see, what you feel, what you notice. You observe differently when you're somewhere new. Catch it.
SelfGo without guilt. You being filled up makes you better at everything else. This is not indulgence — this is maintenance.
SpiritualPray in a new place this week. Even just Dhuhr in a different spot. There's something about salah in an unfamiliar place that makes you feel it differently.
"The world is wide. I am allowed to take up space in it."
Week 20 The Bigger Work
WritingStart the big piece this week. Whatever you named it in Week 17 — begin. Chapter 1, Poem 1 of a collection, Part 1. It doesn't have to be good. It has to exist.
MusicPush further with music this month. What's one thing you could create, learn, or explore? You have a gift — give it something to do.
SpiritualBack to 1 Quran page a day if it has slipped. Don't catch up — just restart from today.
ProfessionalImplement Step 1 of your 30-day sprint plan from Week 18. Don't wait until the last week — start now.
"The big work starts with one sentence. Write that sentence."
Week 21 Don't Forget the People
SocialPlan intentional time with the people who matter most this week. Don't let progress happen at the expense of connection. The ones who stay deserve your presence.
EmotionalCheck in on the relationships you've been investing in since Month 4. How do they feel now? Have you told the right people what they mean to you?
ProfessionalStep 2 of your sprint plan. Keep moving on the career goal. Don't slow down now.
WritingKeep building the big piece. Even 3 sentences a day on it counts. Don't abandon it in a busy week.
"I can build a career and love people at the same time."
Week 22 One Day of Real Rest
ReflectWrite about how far you've come since Week 1. What has genuinely changed? What are you doing now that would have seemed impossible in January?
ProfessionalStep 3 of your sprint plan. Final month push begins.
SelfTake one full day this week with no output. No plan. No productivity. Watch something, cook something, sit somewhere nice. Rest without justifying it.
BrotherCall your brother this week. Make it a longer conversation. Tell him you love him. Say it.
"Five months in. I am not the same person who started."
Month Six The Rising Rest, reflect, and begin again
Week 23 Open the Letter & Write a New One
ReflectOpen the letter you sealed in Week 13. Read it. Then write a new letter — the full 6-month version. What changed? What surprised you? What are you proud of? Date it. Keep it.
SpiritualMake a list of every dua that was answered in the past 6 months — big and small. Read it out loud to yourself. This is your evidence that He listens.
WritingKeep going on the big piece. The finish line is close. Don't stop now.
ProfessionalFinal push on career goal. What was the one-sentence goal you wrote in Month 2? How close are you? What's needed in the last two weeks?
"I kept the letter. I kept my word. I kept going."
Week 24 Memory & Gratitude
GriefMark your parents' and sister's memory this week in a way that feels meaningful. Read Quran for them. Make food they loved. Tell your children about them. Keep them alive in the living.
SpiritualPray Tahajjud if you can — even once this week. A quiet conversation with Allah at a quiet hour, about the journey of these 6 months. Just you and Him.
SelfRest. This week, actually rest. Not productive rest — real stillness. You've worked, you've built, you've changed. Let yourself just be for a few days.
SocialSpend time with the people who stayed. Tell them something real. You have 6 months of growth to share — let the right people see it.
"Alhamdulillah for those who are here. Alhamdulillah for those who went ahead."
Week 25 Finish Something
WritingFinish or publish one piece this week. The big one, or a complete small one. But something is done and out — not hidden in a folder. Done. Yours. In the world.
ProfessionalFinal check on career goal. What's been achieved? What's still in motion? Write it down. Progress doesn't have to mean arrival — it just has to mean forward.
FinancialTotal up everything from the past 6 months — savings accumulated, expenses cut, financial habits changed. Write the actual numbers. You did that.
SpiritualRe-read your dua list from Week 23. Thank Allah for every answered one. Then ask again for the ones still waiting. He hears the repeated ask as sincerity.
"Done is better than perfect. Done is proof I showed up."
Week 26 Begin Again
ReflectOn the last day of this week, write down 3 things you want to work on in the next 6 months. You're not starting over. You're continuing. This is how people actually change.
CelebrateTell someone what you did this year. Not to show off — to honour it. What you built in these 6 months deserves to be said out loud to someone who loves you.
BrotherCall your brother. Tell him about the 6 months. He is your anchor. Let him see how far you've come.
SpiritualMake a dua for the next 6 months. Specific. Honest. Big. You've seen in the last 6 months that He answers. Ask accordingly.
SelfRest. Begin again tomorrow. You rise.
"Alhamdulillah. Today. Tomorrow. And all the days I keep going."

You are not building a perfect life.
You are building your life — one week at a time.

That is exactly enough. Rise, SAM.
