The Moon & Love
The moon forgot to set last night, Or did I just see a glowing light? For I am in love with all my might, It's just you, and only you, in my sight.
02
She & December

03
The Old Man
The old man planted trees he'd never see grow, For he wanted contentment to make his heart glow. He didn't look for praises or for show, He knew his deeds would fulfill him, slow.
04
The Clocks
Every clock in the house stopped at noon, You ask — is this a curse or a boon? For her broken heart is hollow like the moon, Scarred and deep, alone too soon.
05
The Margins
He wrote her name in the margins of every book, For his heart was owned with just one look. His soul was captured, caught on a hook, A love so deep, no thief could ever took.
Part Two — Poems 6 to 10

07
The Rain
Rain doesn't knock before it enters, It pours, it roars, it never surrenders. It showers love sometimes, in its splendor, Yes, rain is heavenly — God, the sender.
08
Silence
Some silences are louder than goodbyes, Have you ever seen it with your own eyes? The quiet is sometimes deafening to ears, It pains so deep, even without seen tears.
09
The Child
The child drew a door on a wall and waited, He wanted to escape, so he dreamed and created. His belief stayed strong, though the world debated, He knew he'd find a way — however the path was gated.
10
Autumn
Autumn doesn't apologize for letting go, It makes way for newness, coming slow. It is here to make you stronger and grow, Yes, Autumn will steady the ebb and the flow.
