SAM Ruh – One Minute of Peace
SAM Ruh Return ↗
أَلَا بِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ تَطْمَئِنُّ الْقُلُوبُ "Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest." — Qur'an 13:28 You have a few minutes.
Put everything down.
You are allowed to rest.
Breathe in…
breath 1 of 4

Let your body settle

Notice your shoulders.
Let them drop, just a little.

Unclench your jaw.
Soften the space between your eyes.

Let your hands lie open.

You are not required to carry tension right now.

You are held by a Lord who has not looked away from you — not once.
Every breath you just took was a gift you did not earn and did not ask for.
Whatever is heavy right now — He already knows its weight.
You are not carrying it alone.
— and that is enough to rest in, for this moment.
A moment of gratitude

Think of one thing — just one —
that exists in your life right now
that was not guaranteed.

a body that breathed today someone who loves you a roof above you eyes reading these words

"And if you tried to count the blessings of Allah, you could not enumerate them." — Qur'an 16:18

سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ
Subḥānallāh
Glory be to Allah — above everything that worries you
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ
Alḥamdulillāh
All praise belongs to Allah — for the known and the unknown gifts
لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ
Lā ilāha illallāh
There is no god but Allah — nothing else is worth your anxiety
اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ
Allāhu Akbar
Allah is greater — greater than everything that feels overwhelming right now

He is close

You do not have to travel far to find Him.
You do not need perfect words.
You do not need to have everything together first.

Right now, in this quiet,
He is nearer to you than your own jugular vein.

وَنَحْنُ أَقْرَبُ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ حَبْلِ الْوَرِيدِ "We are nearer to him than his jugular vein." — Qur'an 50:16
A du'ā to carry with you
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ فِي قَلْبِي نُورًا
Allāhumma-j'al fī qalbī nūrā
"O Allah, place light in my heart."

That is the whole prayer.
Short enough to hold.
Deep enough to last the rest of the day.

You just gave yourself
a moment with Him.

You didn't fix anything.
You didn't arrive anywhere new.
You simply remembered — and in remembering,
something in you quietly settled.

That is what He promised it would do.
